Mission Possible Travel is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Canwest Travel Company, headquartered in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. The parent company was formed in 1996 and from the outset endeavoured to fulfil a defined niche in educational and mission-related travel services to primarily a North American clientele traveling internationally for purposeful travel.

Mission Possible Travel was accorded independent status in 2003 due to the growth of this sector of CanWest's overall travel business. A separate department enables Mission Possible Travel to better serve its customers in an efficient and effective manner.

Mission Possible Travel's mission is to provide travel services to individuals and groups undertaking journeys with a purpose other than strictly business or leisure. Mission Possible Travel effectively makes its own contribution to the purposeful travel of its clientele by endeavoring to offer its services at rates below those available on the retail market. Clients include youth and students groups, educational field study groups, church mission trips, donor awareness programmes of charitable organisations showcasing their projects, volunteer groups travelling to developing countries with a specific project in mind, and corporate travel for various charitable organisations.
